This Boy Proves He’s More Of A Man Than The Trolls Who Bullied Him

Date:

The Internet has opened up a whole new frontier when it comes to bullying. Now, thanks to web forums, social media sites and video comments sections, bullies don’t even need to bully people face to face and run the risk that the person bullying them might just turn on them. Now they can do it anonymously from the safety of their keyboards. They’re cowards, basically, and they don’t care who they hurt.

One such person the bullies targeted recently was eleven year old Logan Fairbanks. Logan’s dad had posted some videos of Logan goofing about on his YouTube channel, as dads like to do. Sadly, it wasn’t long before the trolls emerged from their caves to spread their poison. They called Logan fat, they called him a waste of oxygen, they wished that he died. Let us remind you – they said this about an eleven year old boy.

Even by the in-the-gutter-standards of YouTube comments threads, that’s low.

Well, they didn’t count on Logan. Instead of crying about it, Logan decided he would make a video and call these bullies out. With the help of his dad, Logan made the following video, and it’s an inspiration to watch one so young face up to his tormentors.

“Logan asked me to do this,” his father wrote on YouTube. “As his dad I was very hesitant but he insisted that if there was a chance it could help someone then why not face his online bullies and try. I hope one day I have as much courage as he does.”

So do we. Good on you, Logan!
