UK pharmacy chain Superdrug have an ‘online doctors’ website and they recently launched a campaign designed to find about all about how people see beauty and physical perfection across the world. They wanted to find out the answer to the question, ‘how do perceptions of beauty vary across the globe?’
To find out they took a standard picture of a pretty normal looking young woman. They sent that picture to 18 different graphic designers from all across the world with the brief to ‘retouch’ the image in order to make the girl ‘more beautiful’ for the people of their homeland.
