Animal rights activist group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) are known for courting controversy in their marketing and advertising campaigns. But they’ve gone one better with their latest advertisement, seeing it BANNED from being aired during the commercial break at the Superbowl as planned.

In it, we see a pretty steamy couple of scenes, one a regular meat-eating couple getting down to business, the other a vegan couple getting it on. And, with the campaign being called ‘Vegans Last Longer’, it’s all about the guy’s stamina. Apparently us burger-eaters are suffering from a poor performance rating, time-wise. According to PETA, anyhow.

TV broadcasters have deemed the ad ‘too explicit’ to be aired during the breaks of the showdown between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers during Superbowl 50 on Sunday February 7th. See what you make of it… Does it make you want to ditch eating meat???
