Santa Barbara resident Lexi Brown was airlifted to Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA in California recently after her heart failed. The brave and resilient twelve year-old has cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. The chemo caused complications leading to the issue with her heart and she was had to change hospitals. And boy is she glad she did…

In her new room, Lexi made a sign with her name on for her window. Across the street, unbeknownst to her is a frat house. UCLA’s Sigma Alpha Epsilon. But these guys are no beer-swilling Animal House-style morons (although, sure – they enjoy a drink!). These are some truly awesome guys. They saw her sign. And did something amazing!

“Five guys come in, and they had a guitar and dozen roses and a box of pizza,” Lexi’s mom Lisa told NBC News. “They introduced themselves and said, ‘We saw your sign; we’re here.’ They stayed for a half an hour, they sang this song and I started bawling my head off. I’m like, ‘I can’t believe these people are here for my child.’”

It wasn’t just a one-off visit, though. They’ve kicked off an unlikely friendship. And check THIS out…

What great work from the guys. That’s true friendship right there. This is a story that will bring a tear to you eye!
