Weddings. Is there an event in the calendar which requires more thought, planning, preparation, worrying and effort? Surely not. Not even hosting a huge Thanksgiving or Christmas comes close. It’s just one day, but a good wedding can take years to organize. And those people that do take that long? Well, they just want it perfect, don’t they?
The perfect wedding dress, the perfect meal, excellent speeches, an engaging priest, amazing flowers, a top wedding cake… The list goes on. But it’s not always possible to completely control everything. Like people. Maybe your uncle gets drunk and tries to kiss a bridesmaid, for instance. Or, more likely, one of the kids has a tantrum or misbehaves…
