Sulphur, Louisiana. Local man Glen Taylor Bonin is drunk. He’d have to be pretty well oiled to do what he did. And what was that? Well, attempt to move a hungry alligator from the road, that’s what. And what do you know? The stunt backfired and Bonin was bitten pretty badly…
With some pals who had also been drinking beers that day, Bonin decided they should take off their shirts and use them to blindfold the 11ft alligator. But, as you can imagine, their idea didn’t work all that well… The 23 year-old ended up needing 80 stitches in his hand.
“I’ve always been the type of person to learn the hard way,” Bonin said. “I was lucky to escape alive and only need stitches.”
