It’s The Kmart Commercial People Wanted Banned. Personally, I Couldn’t Stop Laughing!

Sometimes TV commercials are slightly too close to the knuckle, aren’t they? That’s often what makes them so popular and/or controversial. Not that either outcome annoys the companies behind them. After all, it gets people talking about the brand, doesn’t it! The most recent example of a crazy but brilliant ad? The Doritos Super Bowl one. It’s great!

But looking back through the vaults, we’d have to say that KMart‘s hilarious ‘Ship My Pants‘ campaign is right up there at the top for being just too damn funny… It’s basically just the same joke over and over again and yet – it just seems to get funnier and funnier each time.

What starts off with a small family being impressed that they can can ‘ship’ their pants in KMart soon escalates to people shipping their drawers, shipping their nighties… Even shipping their beds! Sure, it’s juvenile, but it’ll give you a belly laugh. And who doesn’t want one of those from time to time??? Enjoy!
