    A woman finds a starving, beaten and dying dog by the side of the road. It’s a pit bull and it’s in a very bad way. She takes it into Dr. Andy Mathis at the Granite Hills Animal Center. He considers putting the poor thing down – it’s been abused badly and might not pull through a painful recovery. But Dr. Andy refuses to give up on him…

    He and his colleagues named the mutt Graycie Clair and set to work. It was a long road because of how badly treated she had been before reached the clinic. But one step at a time they got her fit and healthy and where she needs to be.

    But it’s a video that Dr. Andy posted to the clinic’s Facebook page that really seems to have caught the public’s imagination. Graycie had never been fed properly and didn’t trust humans. When they fed her, she refused to eat. She didn’t didn’t how and was too fraught with nerves. So the good doctor did something amazing
