To be sure, it certainly WAS a happy St. Patrick’s Day for anyone who was lucky enough to find themselves at Sydney’s Central Railway Station on Wednesday. For what started out as if it was just one young man dancing a little soon turned out to be something quite grand and exciting… A Riverdance flashmob!
Tourism Ireland, Jason Oremus, Chris Naish and the Sneaky Steppers crew were behind the event, designed as a bit of a publicity stunt for Irish tourism. But PR event or not, this is bound to warm the cockles of your heart, it’s truly an uplifting thing to see.
We’d love to have been there for this, it must have been pretty special to see it all unfurling live, in person. What a thing to have been a part of too. So, here goes – A St. Patrick’s Day flashmob for you!
