Not that long ago, when you looked into the back yard of Wayne Martin, all you’d be greeted with was a gaping chasm – a huge great big hole that looked like a meteorite had hit it! It was no wonder that his neighbors were so annoyed and used to complain about the look of the place. But now? It’s nothing less than awesome and has people in the area racked with jealousy!
The DIY whizz has created a very special shipping container underground shelter that needs to be seen to be believed. The 20ft container wasn’t very easy to install, as you can imagine, but he documented the process in a handy little tutorial video for anyone who might like to try it themselves.
This was a project which clearly took a great deal of time, thought and planning. and a little money. But when you see the finished project? WOW! Wayne uses his special underground bunker as a wine cellar, but you could use yours for anything. Check it out, it’s fantastic:
