The little elephant was likely to die…
Thanks to the dedicated effort of the sanctuary staff, the baby elephant began to recover. But what really seemed to help was his new pal – a dog! Ellie the elephant and Duma the German Shepherd became fast friends and their bond really helped keep Ellie’s spirits up during her difficult recovery period.
We love unlikely animal friendships here, they’re just so heartwarming, aren’t they? They are about as adorable as adorable gets. And this is no exception… Who’d have thought it? An elephant and a dog?! Check it out:
