This Boy With Autism Tells Santa His Secret… His Reply? Totally Unexpected!

“Will my autism put me on the naughty list?” It’s not a question that Santa Claus had ever heard before, so it took him aback slightly. He thought about it… “No, little boy. So long as you mean well and try your best…” And that seemed to please the worried young kid.

The touching meeting happened at the RiverTown Crossings Mall in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The store Santa was happy to shoot the breeze with the kid, a little lad by the name of Landon. Autistic Landon had been worried for some time that his affliction – and it’s resulting behaviors – might upset Saint Nick and his elves. So he was VERY relieved!

This is a simple little Christmas story, but there’s something about the wide-eyed innocence of little Landon and the kindness the store Santa shows him that really warmed our cockles…
