What would the world be like if men had periods? Well the water charity Water Aid decided to find out. They conducted a poll and asked two thousand people what they thought guys would be like if they started having monthlies. And a whopping THIRD of everyone asked said that the dudes would openly laugh and joke and even brag about them…
To extend the idea, they thought it’d be funny to make an advert aimed at men if they were to have periods and the results are great! This is EXACTLY how they’d be!
The funny commercial has a point behind it too, though. The idea is that the #IfMenHadPeriods campaign was to highlight that over 1.25 billion women around the world don’t have access to a toilet or similar facility during their periods. Water Aid are passionate about their cause and it’s an important one.
