A clip from popular TV show Judge Judy has emerged which shows a man losing his case in fewer than 30 seconds, after accidentally admitting to a crime! The clip, which actually comes from a 2010 episode of the show, but only came to light recently, centers on teenager Ginny Paradeza, who is accusing a pair of young men of stealing her purse. In her inimitable style, Judy impatiently asks the plaintiff to recount what was in her wallet, to which she responds “There was $50 … I had to replace all my ID cards. I had gift cards in there too, my earpiece and a calculator.”

At this point, one of the defendants smugly interjects to say “There was no earpiece in there, ma’am,” thus incriminating him and his buddy, and hence losing them the case . Cue laughter from the courtroom, and Judy herself! The judge then turns to the court security guard and said: “I love it. I love it!” before pointing to the two criminals and saying : “That’s dumb and that’s dumber!” And if humiliation on worldwide television wasn’t enough, these two bungling robbers were ordered to pay Paradeza $500.
