The enormous German supermarket chain Edeka (the country’s biggest, in fact) decided to surprise shoppers at one of their branches recently with a very Christmassy little treat. Santa Barbara resident Lexi Brown was airlifted to Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA in California recently after her heart failed. The brave and resilient twelve year-old has cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. The chemo caused complications leading to the issue with her heart and she was had to change hospitals.
