Corey Feldman has come forward in talking about his traumatic experience as a young child in Hollywood. He says that he and other child stars fell victim to rampant sexual abuse and was repeatedly molested by adult males in the industry. He says that these men would pass young stars “back and forth to each other”.
Feldman also opens up about his best friend, Corey Haim, who was raped by a film producer at the age of 11. He says that that was the start of a long cycle of abuse that may have caused Haim to live a life of drugs and alcohol, which ultimately lead him to his death in 2010, at the age of 38.
“He had more direct abuse than I did. With me, there were some molestations and it did come from several hands, so to speak, but with Corey, his was direct rape, whereas mine was not actual rape,”said Feldman of the sexual abuse suffered by Haim. “And his also occurred when he was 11. My son is 11 now and I can’t even begin to fathom the idea of something like that happening to him. It would destroy his whole being.”

Feldman says that other stars in the industry knew about the sexual abuse that was taking place, but nobody said anything or tried to help the young boys.
To further back up Feldman’s claims, Alison Arngrim, from Little House on the Prairie, said in an interview;
“Everybody knew that the two Coreys were just being passed around. Like it was something people joked about on studio lots. We’re not talking about huge executives and directors that I am aware of that were involved in this. The people that I knew doing it were publicists, they were photographers for teen magazines, things like that.”

Feldman says that these men would not only groom the young boys from a young age, but also their parents. At the age of 15, he was being abused by a man that was an employee of his father and that his parents had no idea about the abuse.

One thing Feldman does not, or rather cannot, discuss however is the names of the individuals who molested him and raped Haim. He says that, as much as he would like to name the men responsible, he is legally unable to. One of the men who molested him still works in the industry Feldman said, adding that while he has run in to him over the years he has never tried to confront the man.
